The
names people have assigned to their
own nations, regions, and cities are the names used in international
language Peoplese. Whenever feasible, we used native - not
colonial - names.
For example, the
beautiful word "Aotearoa" is the name native Maori people assigned to
their islands, so in Peoplese is used in lieu of "New Zealand", named
after a Dutch exporer.
