Peoplese Geopolitical Words
Nations    Regions    Cities
The names people have assigned to their own nations, regions, and cities are the names used in international language Peoplese.  Whenever feasible, we used native - not colonial - names.

For example, the beautiful word "Aotearoa" is the name native Maori people assigned to their islands, so in Peoplese is used in lieu of "New Zealand", named after a Dutch exporer.

Click on the "Nations" link above for a list of nations, national adjectives, and demonyms.
